We were last in AC four years ago. Will be going again in October. Has there been any major changes or is everything still laid back and "paradise"?

Lived in San Pedro Jan-Oct 2000. Enjoy viewing photos posted by recent visitors. I see lots of changes, most notably many new 3rd stories on cement buildings & alot of gas golf carts.

I was there in 2001, and returned earlier this year. It's much busier. More vendors trying to sell you something. More construction trucks. Still great, but not the same.
