OK, Im back.......where was I??? oh yeah, San Pedro....woke up late(8:00) and ate some coconut bread for breakfast that we bought from a girl Wednesday on the beach...very good...Mac and Julie decide they are going to go snorkeling, so I drop them off at Wet Willie's and head back to the room...Beth and I go shopping for most of the morning, and have a pretty good morning...we go to La Isla Bonita and she buys a tie-on top that makes me just want to untie it, very sexy...not much material there, but she wanted something made locally to wear for our last night on the island on Friday..... we had talked about eating at an expensive restaurant by ourselves to celebrate our tenth anniversary, but we decide to picnic on the beach instead....this decision was made easier after we went to Wine De Vine...we were there a few times earlier in the week, and Mary(she has a middle name but I cant remember it, Ellen or Linda or something), and the foods she sells looked amazing.....so Beth shopped and picked out some things we dont normally eat, caviar, goat cheese, truffle pate, bought a chilean champagne which I didnt know existed,Beth wanted to surprise me with all the food, some fresh baguettes, and we were set....we had also bought some homemade ceviche and tortilla chips from a woman named China who is apparently pretty well known on AC,......came home and took a nap....that evening we walked toward the cut and found a nice clean stretch of beach and had our dinner......the food was amazing, we had a bottle of Casillero del Diabla Sauvignon Blanc and a Concha Y Toro Champagne, and were in heaven....the only problem was that our candles wouldnt light due to the wind blowing, but I guess that was a minor detail.....after a great anniversary dinner, we went back to the room and met up with Todd and Jen from Salt Lake City who had checked in earlier and Mac and Julie were back from their excursion......went to Fido's and had shot after shot after shot.....kamikaze, Cuervo, something blue, .......went downtown to buy some jewelry and Beth ran into Tony, her personal jewelry salesman.....she talked to him a few times earlier in the week and had told him exactly what she was looking for, well he had it all ready to go....she was so excited...look him up...all in all a great night.....

What happened to Day 5?

FYI, for you red wine drinkers, try Casillero del Diablo reds. I like the carmenere and merlot. They are pretty well available in the States around $9 a bottle. smile

Please note:
Cajunman's trip reports can be trusted, this guy knows how to live, drink, and eat well. He doesn't know lots about wierd tropical fruits, but then who should? Good to see your report, Jay.
Casa Picasso

Seashell, actually day 4 and 5 were together in a long report I wrote and put lots of time into....strangely the report has been deleted for some reason. I emailed Marty and he said it doesnt ring a bell, I told him there was some negative stuff about a time share salesman, but nothing vulgar or anything.......maybe its the time share voodoo coming back to get me......Beachy, thanks for the kind words, it's hard not to eat and drink well when restaurants like yours exist.....(shameless plug for Casa Picasso)......later

Wierd. In any event, as ever, I'm against that kind of censorship.

In any event, if you had day 4 and day 5 together, I must have read it already. Thanks.

Looking forward to the next installment.
