I personally find these people refreshing, bright, entertaining, vastly intelligent and humourous -I sincerely wish that we could accommodate more than the present number of ships that currently visit our shores.

My favorite cruise ship story. We were in Grand Cayman, the cruise ship was in, and my wife and her sister headed into a shop on the main drag downtown. My brother-in-law and I stayed out in the parking lot for a smoke. A man and his wife approachs (she, 300 pounds in a muu-muu, him in a hat, tropical shirt, dark socks and wingtips, about late 50's). She heads into the shop, he hangs outside the door. A local walks by, the man says, "hey, boy, where the hell is this beach everyone talks about?" the guy replies,"about a mile down that way." The man responds " Why the hell didn't you put it closer so we can see it." Believe it or not, true story.
Been there, done that, the washing machine ate the T-shirt

Caye Caulker has no cruise ship visitors now. I guess they found us... unfriendly.
