Thanks Pat,

I was at the BETEX too and was looking for you but we never connected. Glad you got back to Belize! Great pics. I have to post mine one of these days.

PATLAF,

Thanks for sharing your photographs. They were great. What did you use to shoot the underwater photos?

My wife and I stayed at Five Sister's Lodge just a few weeks after it opened (9 years ago). The people, food, and service were fabulous at that time. Is it still good?

On that same trip my wife and I spent on night at Monkey River Town. At that time the only "hotel" was a room above a family's home and the only "restaurant" was eating with the family. It was a great experience. We did a boat tour up Monkey River and were rather disappointed in not seeing much in the way of wildlife. How is Monkey River Town now? Has it grown much?

Glad to see the Chicken Drop is still going strong.

Life is what happens while you are making other plans.

Five Sisters is still fab. Doing some renovations right now. Added a deluxe villa down by the river. Gorgeous place.

I was on the expedition that went to PG, Placencia and Cayo. It was great if a bit fast paced. But we got to see a lot of places. El Pescador PG is truly awesome and one of my new fave places in the country. Lodge at Big Falls PG is great as well.

Pics are coming - working on labeling them now.
