Heading for AC on the 5th of Oct. Never been there. Any suggestions on what to do around the Seven Seas Resort - good restaurants, things going on that week in AC, good snorkelling spots, etc.?? Appreciate the feedback! Tara.

You are so close to town, I think about 1/2 mile. Walk to town - everything is right there. cool

Seven Seas is easily walkable to town - we've frequently just strolled down the beach - call it 5-6 blocks. Papi's Diner is right behind Seven Seas and La Popular Bakery is only a block or so away.

All of the best snorkeling spots are along the reef, which requires a boat trip. You can snorkel off some of the piers around town, but, they're not like the really great spots. Carol at the front desk of Seven Seas can help you arrange the snorkel trips - I recommend 'lil Alphonse - and the guide will pick you up right on the Seven Seas' dock.

It's been a year since we were back in San Pedro and that's about 11 months too long - enjoy!

I can't add a lot to the comments above but I will say one good thing about the Seven Seas is that you really don't need a golf cart if you don't want the hassle or expense, it's very close to everything you need.

I am recomending that you visit Jambel Jerk pit for lunch or dinner . There is the only place on the island that you will be able to listen to ire Jamaican music while enjoying their mout watering dishes. I am recomending you try their jerk lobster, it is the best on the island. We dine there all the time and it wonderful. Have a wonderful time in San Pedro.
