HAS ANYONE HEARD FROM JOE OR VALIN MILLER RECENTLY? WE HEARD THEY WERE OK.
I AM WONDERING HOW THIER SHOP FAIRED?
DO THEY NEED ANY TOOLS TO GET BOATS BACK IN
THE WATER AND OPERATING?
THIS IS BRYAN A FRIEND IN HOUSTON.
I CAN GET SUPPLIES TO THEM IF I KNOW WHAT THEY NEED.

Bryan--Did Joe call you yesterday? Nancy called me and said he left a message on her machine. She was out and missed the call. He told her we could check with you if we needed information, so I figured he reached you. Let me know if there's anything I can do from here (Hawaii). Got and E-Mail from Ian today. Has been busy working on his house. Said Joe hasn't been at the boat yard. He is working up North. He said Joes's boat had sunk and they had roof damage to their house, but are fine.

Joe left a message on my ansewering machine friday. Said all was ok but said find a way to send ice. Also said they are without elec.
and it was just like old times.
I have tried to call on his moble phone but no answer yet.
I will post if I here from them agin.

The Boat Yard is badly damaged at this time. Clean up underway. I hear ice can be found at Pescador for those up north. Just a rumor but Logan is pretty damned resoursful, and it wouldn't surprise me.Good luck to Joe and his.

What happened to that ice plant with the huge machine that they built in downtown San Pedro last year? They should have plenty...

like
he and Valin are well under way w/ what repairs needed to be done to
their
house/dock... sounded minimal. Guess they only lost a few trees,
the biggest of which missed the house by inches... He speculated they
won't have power up there for a good while...if nothing else, w/ the
rain
they've been getting the past few days, he said the grounds too soft to
set poles... no other real big news to report, as Vivian and Joe only
talked for 5-10 minutes... "Enough of about here..." he hinted as Vivian
was promted to fill him in on the baseball world. Yeah, NY got the
subway
series the Bay area was hoping for...
