I am going to be on AC for the first time to dive in Nov.

I would also like to go over to the mainland for a day or two to see the rain forest, Mayan Ruins and would like some recommendations for a guide or tour company.

Altun Ha is OK. Laminai is much better. Corazol is the best.

Flat out, Daniel!!!!! and Lamanai, take some snacks and a magazine or book for a small part of the trip...I'm an Alcoholic, is that how you spell it? so I also take a beer or a flask of rum! LOVE CARIBBEAN WHITE/COKE!

Absolutely, Daniel of Tanisha Tours. And he supplies the rum punch, juice, light breakfast, and lunch. (great food and plenty of it). Oh, and he's the best tour guide around. Look at the trophy in Tanisha's office to prove it.
