Jeff,
You the Man. I have never been to AC, but Man I gotta tell ya, I like hearing that ill be able to get on fish on my own. My wife likes to shop and chill, I like to fish as long as the sun is up. So if we are staying at Rubys, will I be located to some relitivly close flatts fishing?
Could you also let me know a bit about Rubys?
I dont mean to be a pain in yo a$$, but do you know anything about this Guide by the Name of Severo Guerro? I have herd that this is the guy that has the keen eye for a grand slam?I need me some tight lines while im there, so its very important that I book w/ somebody solid!
I appriciate all you do for the folks looking to visit AC, but mostly, I appriciate the information you have provided for me!
Hope all is well, and I plan on spraying you w/ new questions, as I cant figure out how to post a new thread on this chat board!
Cheers!

If you're not using a guide, bring all the tackle that you can, with you.

Bait is hard to come by unless you have a guide or have the patience to bring down a throw net and hunt for sardines. Captain Sharks on the beach in front of Wet Willy's will take care of any tackle that you forgot. El Pescador also carries a great selection of Fly-Fishing materials (for Belize), stop by if you're traveling North by cart and I'm sure Bob will give you a couple of tips.

I like to fish the cut...I go to the hammock house , buy a few beers and fish off the dock, I use sardines or small shrimp imitations...If they are not biting I go back to the bar....matter of fact I go back to the bar if they are biting

take down extra hooks and sinkers...if you see some kids hanging around watching you...pass a few of them out along with a soda.....
