Hi everyone, it seems like I read somewhere a while ago about cruise ship traffic. Is there alot of that on AC and CC? Or is it one just one day? Asumming there is a day or two with cruise ship traffic, what should we avoid when they are there or is it no big deal? confused

I don't know how regular the traffic is but, in May, we encountered one day of it out of seven days. It was our shopping day and there was people, taxies, golf carts and policeman everywhere! We found getting around town to be a bit of a hassle and it didn't take long to head south and then north with the golf cart. lol We found out later in the week there were 5 cruise ships in port that day. eek Me, I plan to avoid going into town on those days! wink

but don't be deceived - the cruise ships are not docked on AC or CC - but in BC and day trippers are shuttled out

Aha! klcman, that explains alot. I never saw the ships & was just too busy enjoying the island to figure out how all those people got there. It was not high on the priority list. laugh
