Can you buy rum and cigarettes at the airport in Belize City before heading to Ambergris Caye?

How expensive are cigarettes??

my suggestion would be to pick up cigs at the duty free before you leave the states. You can get a few of the major brands in AC, but they are expensive and a bit stale sometimes. There are some local brands that are cheaper and not too bad.

We normally bring in a couple of cartons of cigs apiece for our own use. No problems so far. I used to bring in a bottle of vodka too, but it was a lot easier for the extra 5 bucks or so to just buy it down there rather than take up space in a carryon. If you are referring to bringing in food stuff, no idea, the food there is better than anything I could bring. I assume veggies are a definite no-no, they are everywhere else.
