After watching this board for over three years I think we are going to take the plunge and come visit. I need to know the top three resorts that have nice pools. This is important to my wife. A nice beach is not as important as the pool and a swim up bar is always an added bonus. I'm looking at Belizean Shores and Banana Beach. The pool shots at Banana Beach looks like it is enclosed in a courtyard? True? I'm not sure how desirable that is. Thanks for the anticipated replies. I have learned plenty watching this board for a long, long, while. Scott

You have got to try Belizean Shores. It is a resort on the north side of the island. Peaceful and quiet with a nice beach and amazing swimming pool! The best in the island!

I agree wih islandgial. Belizean Shores does have the best pool. Zero depth entry, swim up bar, hot tub (no jets), loads of stools in the water. Fun! Fun! Fun!

Awesome pictures. Hey, the hot tub has jets. When I was in it in September of last year, I didn't see any. Oh well, it could have been all the Belikins I had consumed!

Makes me want to get back down there sooner!!!

A pool on AC? Belizean Shores hands down. There is no comparison.

The pool looks great! Can you swim there if you are not staying with them? Maybe if you eat there?

I have been there twice without staying there. I visited the bar first and then Premo told us to go to the pool. No one said anything to us.

hello all - I am going to AC February 26-March 5/2005 and 4 of us are booked in at the Belizean shores - has anyone stayed there and what shall we expect for beds - I know only 1 bedroom but they said something about a loft - anyone answer this for me? And how is the restaurant there? I hear great things re the pool and we dont know if we are poolside or beachside - which is the best?
