Hi, we're arriving next week, and are wondering if the strikes and threats of general strikes over the recent budget have affected getting through P. Goldsmith Airport. We are also bringing a bunch of gifts for local friends... should we expect customs to be a hassle, on strike, or should we just clam up and hope for the best? Any thoughts would be appreciated!

thnx!

Tell them you are on your second or third trip down, smile...they usually let you through...If there is anything of any value in your luggage it will be gone by the time you get to Belize anyway....Carry on anything that has any value.
