By San Pedro tourism standards the restaurant at Belizean Shores would be moderately priced. Just a few yards to the south is Paulie Pizza which has a pretty diverse and reasonable menu.

I stayed at Belizean Shores last August and I'm sure you will like it there. The restaurant is very good but you definately want to venture into town via the water taxi for more dining experiences. A must is Elvi Kitchen (Moderate)and Blue Water Grill (Somewhat Pricy but excellent). Also the Sunday BBQ on the beach at BC's is something you won't want to miss.

On the North end, Sweet Basils is good, as is Hamilton House, but Hamilton House is pretty pricey. In town, Casa Picasso is EXCELLENT! Great appetizers, entrees AND desserts! It was definitely our favorite of all the places we ate. Very trendy, great music, and the service is excellent. It's located at the end of the runway, opens at 5:00 or 5:30....great atmosphere.

I heard that Sweet Basils had closed the end of last month. Not sure of the reliability...

Hey SnorkelG Glad to see you made it home safe. Was nice to meet you. Hope you had a great time and plan on returning. On the boat leaving CM, I asked Dan when we should plan on returning. We will return. Dan and Jan

Don't miss Rendevous, a quick walk north from your resort. Great place.

Ditto on Rendezvous. It is a great restaurant not to be missed. Also an easy walk (south)from B. Shores is Capricorn. Capricorn and Rendezvous are a bit above moderate pricey, but well worth it if you enjoy fine dining.

D&J, It was nice seeing you too. We made it home safe to be greeted by snow and ice. Our plane landed at the airport in Syracuse, NY and couldn't taxi to the terminal because there was a giant pile of snow in the runway. The planes wings would have clipped the snow pile, so we sat for 20 minutes on the runway while a bucket loader chipped away at the snow pile so the plane could fit through. A nice welcome home.
