Does anyone know if Maya or Tropic will permit our very loveable and friendly Labrador's onboard? If not, is the only other option the water?

Anyone out there with a non-smartass suggestion?

KLC, When we go to Eleuthera, we fly via private charter and take the dogs. Hence we fly, but not on an airline.....to an island.

We have brought our small 7lb. dog over on Tropic air. Don't know about the bigger dogs. Why don't you contact Tropic and Maya Air. Get the answer from the people who really know. Enjoy!! indygal

its just me, are you moving there> I am hoping to bring my two labradors in Sept. Have you ever flown with your dogs before and do you give them any medications before flying them??

We have flown our Chessapekes and Labs several times and they do just fine. It is the owner that gets nervous and needs the meds:-)

We fly with our labs all the time. They've been flying since they were 6 months old and are fine with it. Much like Chivas, we are more concerned about them than they are with us. We are not moving to AC, but enjoy traveling with our dogs. Trying to figure out the best way to get them to AC

No problem with either Maya or Tropic, just make prior arrangements and you'll be fine. They drop the rear seat for the carrier (they will have to be in carriers). Saga sends dogs of all sizes back and forth to Belize City by air for emergency care and also on to the US for adoption.
