I am vegetarian... no fish or seafood either and am visiting in April. I want a beach BBQ when we are snorkeling! Are any of you veggie and is there anything veggie to eat at a beach BBQ? Can I BYOBBQ?
Thanks,
Sophie

Okay this topic I know. Irm and I are both vegetarians and have been to SP three times. Lot's of great choices.
Some of my personal veggie favorites are:

Tastes of Thailand - incredible thai food #55 is my favorite wink
http://ambergriscaye.com/tastesofthailand/index.html (Hi Tippy and John!)

Casa Picasso - wonderful wonderful food and martini's http://ambergriscaye.com/casapicasso/index.html (Bottom’s up Chris and Jen! I want a Lemon Drop right now)

Ali Baba's - delicious fresh Mediterranean - the best falafel, hummus, babaganouch and pita bread I have ever had (Hey Omar! Crunch Falafel sandwich -YUM)

Stain Glass Pub - varied fabulous menu - friendly owners and dog

Cannibal's - wonderful "veggie potato boats"

Jade Garden - http://ambergriscaye.com/jadegarden/index.html

Estel’s – Dine by the Sea – great for breakfast http://ambergriscaye.com/estels/index.html

Anyone you hire for a beach BBQ and snorkel trip will accommodate you. No worries. We have a had fabulous beach vegetarian BBQ meals. Capt Bicho (San Pedro Fishing) made us an incredible meal last time we were there for us up north at Basil Jones. Grilled seasoned potatoes, coleslaw, tortillas, coconut rice and beans. YUM. Tons of options for us non-carnivores. Have a great time. mobunny
