lasergod Offline
We will be arriving in Belize City on American Airlines at 3:02 PM. Will it be possible to catch the Tropic Air 16:40 Flight or the 17:40 Flight??
I want to make reservations in advance.
We are comming down to SP for the first time 11/19/05 - 11/25/05. We are staying at The Blue Tang Inn.
From everything we have read on this board We can hardly wait to get there.
Thanks
Jim

The 4:40 flight, probably. The 5:40, definitely. Make reservations.

I think maybe that this has been said no fewer than several hundred times--BUT-

if you are arriving on a commercial flight to International, Tropic Air will shuttle their aircraft back and forth until everyone that needs to go to San Pedro is there. Reservations with flight numbers and time don't mean squat. They fill 14 passengers that are in line and then fill the next plane with 14 more. Prepaying your flight will save some time but the flight number and time is useless.

was just down on AC in late Jan.& early Feb. we had arrived from Costa Rica in the morning and literally made it from the plane through immigration and customs, through tropic air and screening in less than 15 minutes. we had about 20 minutes before our tropic flight,so we decided to have a drink at Jet's bar. our flight time came and went, and when i asked a rep. he said we were waiting for other passangers. fine i thought, time for another drink. as i arrived back at our gate the same rep. waved us through and walked us to the far end of the tarmac(drinks still in hand), to our own plane. that's right went to San Pedro with only the two of us onboard. we didn't complain and we weren't in a rush. just goes to show that they opperate a bit differently and try to accomadate their customers.

The Blue Tang Inn will arrange the local air transportation for you and then meet you at the San Pedro airstrip to happily take you and your luggage to your room. They will need your international flight # and take it from there and arrange your return flight also. If you have any questions or requests concerning any part of your trip, email them to the inn. They are MOST helpful. We loved staying there. The staff and our room (#15) were delightful!
