About dosie I saw lots of trees down and around his home also the boat that
belongs to roger landed across the street near thae girl that has a laundry
place. If i remembered correctly thre were people using a bucket on a rope
to get water from the tank that is made of concrete that they were using i
guess to wash up their stuff and maybe even to drink as this was what i saw
the day after the hurricane passed we wento out to the island. Carms has
goen back to the island today and will return on Wednesday will see if i
can get these message to her Let the avilas know that dosie and family
are o.k.
Terry & Doris are fine they did not get an structural damage the only had
debris that flew from all over in their yard .
Glenda Blease and Ronald Belase lost roofing of their homes parts not the
entire building. But they are fine and doing great. They are safe. The
sister Neldy, Faustino Canto they all had lots of celaning to do in Neldy
yard the breadfruit tree fel down luckily it did not fell on top the house
but they were very scared throughout the entire ordeal they are all doing
fine andi am so happy that i could help these people as they are some sort
of relative to both carms and myself.
Kindly inform josellie that all her families are fine and they are able to
communicate to Marisol their sister through the B.T. L. office now
in operation. This was made through the big efforts of the personnel as
this is the only communication one can have with Caye Caulker thorugh the
office.
Ifthis guyt is talking about Gabriel Pariente they are fine thye also have
lots of cleanign up they were protected by trees but almost everyone on the
back part of the island lost lots of precious items.
Frenchie & wife and kids are fine but they lost an entire boat with two
brand new engines no insurance it was a 28' Pelican boat his other 38
landed on the back part of his property would take a helicopter to lift it
easily and drop it out in the water as if they use rollers it would
possible damage the keel of the boat. About the house i cannot say would
have to have carms check that one out and let you know tomorrow.
Tico Requena if this is the one is fine with wife and family they had lots
of stuff soiled in water but are already cleaning up and trying to move on
Novelo's - Erico Novelo Sr. hissons Javier & Erico Jr. are the ones that
lost their boat but they have manage to bring their boats to the city for
repairs. the also had damaged to soem oof their roofing of their little
cabanas.
-------
Frenchie's hotel he lost his boat and engines, his 38' boat is alright
don;'t know if any damage to engines yet. He also lost parts of his guest
home. Both Frenchie and Able and family are fine no injury to them. they
are already helping with the cleaning up of the yards. and trying to get
back on their feet.
----
Tico & Sarah are fine.
---------
Tom's hotel did weathered the storm but not operating as there is still no
electricity yet on the island till about 1 month times. Also people
thatuse the hotel for safety are still ther as some of them still don't
have anywhere to go.
Woody & Antonette are fine saw them on the island but did not get to speak
with them and neither did i see if their roofing on their house is still
on since it was made from tatch.
