Just finished feeding the little man some pancakes and we realized that we hadn't even thought to ask some bringin' the kid questionsIs there a goodOOPSscratch that! WHICH GREAT place for food has pancakes for little visitors? Also, didn't even look at an appliance or TV last time, but alas once we have spent the day "looking for Nemo!" he will probably want to watch the movie. I thought I glanced and it was standard 110 electric or is it?

We'd love to meet some of you great posters when we get there (Apr. 1 - ) we'll be the entourage for the cute little blonde kid having Fish and chips for lunch at Fidos, chasing burritos on Wed., looking for the cook-out on Thurs. (?), trying to find the local bagel woman we met last time at the ex-pat bar, well you know the drillOHHHHH and calculating the legal weight limit for Marie Sharps and rum.Dizzy just thinking about it.

Just checked the site map and caught the electrical issue. frown Sorry for not doing my due diligence on that, but it is easy sometimes to rely a little too much on the collective wisdom of the board. Just caught a pretty scathing exchange on another thread...guess it just seems that posting here (and responding) feels more personal than reading a web page...but I see the point in being a little more specific and prepared.....long post short, hope I didn't miss the search key for pancakes LOL

Choochoo thanks for the tip. We thought of Estelles, but weren't sure if they made American sytle pancakes. By the by, your handle, Choochoo, is our e-mail extension and our son's favorite thing in the world. Just thought it was surprising to see "choochoo" on the post! Thanks for the info.

If Cafe Ole is still open by the airport, good breakfast foods too.

We are always happy to answer food and drink questions.

Just annoying, when questions are asked, that one surely has read about at LODGINGS of the place they are booked with.....boring.

Go to Monkey Bites, next to Exotic Caye, on Coconut Drive. Kathy has the best cinnamon french toast on the island (IMHO).

If you are going to be on the mainland at all Cahal Pech Village (San Ignacio) has great Banana pancakes. On the island, maybe Duane's Kitchen at La Margarita (S of town)
