I'll be going to Belize for the first time at the end of April through early May. Just wondering what it will be like in CC then...still lots of people around, or are things winding down for the "rainy season"? Hope to still do some good snorkeling and relaxing, but also looking forward to enjoying the atmosphere and the people. What can I expect? Thanks!

JBM you can expect great weather, I used to come down the first week of May alot & loved it, Low season starts then & good deals can be had. 6 or 8 trips & never had anything but sunny days.
Water temp. around 80-81.

Thanks for the response! I hope we get that kind of weather...80 deg water temps sounds amazing. How about the town? Are there still people around or do bars and restaurants start shutting down?

Everything will be running, things don't get real slow till Sept.-Oct.
Send me a p.m. if there's anything I can help you with.

JBM this is the perfect time as far as weather. I always try to go down in May. There is a nice breeze. The mornings are hot, but by 2pm or so you just chill and enjoy the breeze. May and June are ideal in Belize!!! Also the perfect snorkeling and scuba conditions.

I have found that both May and June are good times to visit. Weather is usually still pretty good and the prices are a little better.
