Not really. The big celebrations happen in Belize City and in San Pedro.

Carnaval USED to be celebrated and was quite popular. Not sure why our excellent cultural customs are being lost to more western ones, but it would be nice to get the young folks interested in these customs once again. Once they are lost, it is quite likely we will never get them back again.
