I am due to travel to Belize on November the 2nd to stay in the Tradewinds complex in San Pedro. Does anyone know what state the complex and thier diving facilities are in. I have tried emailing the resort directly but, unsurprisingly, get no response

I am one of the Paradise Villas owners (Tradewinds is a travel agency; its owner also owns several condo units in Paradise Villas) and the information we have received from our manager, via the homeowners assn trustees, is that there was only minor to moderate damage to some of the units (don't know which ones yet) but it is expected to be completedly repaired by the end of the month. There is no reason why your trip should not proceed as planned. The only bookings I cancelled for my units were those in October.
