I thought I'd mention that the last time we stayed in Belize we stayed several days at the Windy Hill Resort and was very pleased. The drive from the Airport to San Ignacio was about two hours or less as I recall, but our driver Roy made it seem shorter as he explained a bit of the history of Belize and pointed out some of the places along the way of some interest. We walked everyday down to the town to have breakfast. I was amazed to see some people having breakfast with a cold Belikin (local beer). We have a great habit of always going to town for breakfast when on vacation to sse the local people at work, their shops, food vendors, jewelry shops, way of life and such. The food was great, their breakfast Burrito was to die for. I recommend you check their webite, just plug in the words "Windy Hill" and you should have no problem finding it. laugh
