Agreement For Tourism Initiatives Within the Santa Rita Archaeological Reserve

History on the making - ALL STAKEHOLDERS in the Tourism business, the entire community of Corozal, residents and non-residents, friends and visitors are INVITED TO ATTEND.

After many years of struggling and persistence by the Corozal Chapter of the Belize Tourism Industry Association (BTIA) an agreement for Tourism Initiatives within the restored Santa Rita Archaeological Reserve between the Institute of Archaeology, National Institute of Culture and History (NICH) and the Corozal Chapter of the Belize Tourism Industry Association come to an agreement.

The formal Memorandum of Agreement (MOU) in developing Santa Rita Archaeological Reserve into a Maya Wedding Garden Project will be officially signed on Thursday, September 18th, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Santa Rita Archaeological site.
