Two San Pedro beauties featured in Belikin 2017 Calendar
The much anticipated 2017 Belikin Beer Calendar was officially released at a launch party on Saturday, November 26th in Belize City. The event took place at the Baymen's Tavern of the Radisson Fort George Hotel and Marina. Calendar fanatics flocked to the launch party, eager to get their copy signed by the featured models. This year, San Pedro beauties Dianira Rivera and Daisy Caliz are featured on the calendar.
The launch attracted hundreds, who for a fee of $10 got a copy of the calendar and had it signed by the models. During the event, The San Pedro Sun caught up with the San Pedro models. They both shared that the whole experience, from the photo shoots to the launching, has been amazing. "It's an honour to be part of this calendar's history I am happy for the opportunity," said Rivera. "During the photo shoot, the cast was so supportive and friendly. It made the process so easy." Rivera has been modelling for quite some time, thus, is no stranger to the scene. She participated in the recent Miss Belize Universe pageant, on September 10th, where she represented the island very well. Rivera is Miss April on the 2017 calendar.

Meanwhile Caliz, who also has been on different photo shoots in the past expressed her satisfaction in being part of this year's Belikin Calendar as Miss July. When she got the call to be part of the project, there was no hesitation. "It is a really amazing experience, and it builds up your confidence in whatever you do," she said. "I like modelling and this is once again another accomplishment in what I enjoy doing." Both Rivera and Caliz encourage any young girls with aspirations in the modelling arena to go for it. They pointed out that as long as you like what you do and stay positive, anything is possible.
For those who missed the main launch event, there will be different mini-launches across the country. In San Pedro Town, that event is scheduled for Saturday, December 10th at the Palapa Bar, beginning at 7PM. Get your copy there!
