Another Halloween has come and gone. In its wake, there are lots of happy memories, fun photos, and great ideas to top this year's costumes. Several places all over the island held Halloween parties, and there was certainly a crowd eager to enjoy the fa-‘boo'-lous specials available.
Notable every year for its fabulous crowd appeal and excellent prizes is the San Pedro Holiday Hotel. Their Howling Halloween Party is always a hit, come rain or shine. This year, the rain held off and the crowd came by the hundreds. Both indoor and outdoor bars packed, and people in costumes enjoyed the sounds of DJ Habo while dancing on the jam-packed deck and everywhere else they could fit. Judges were tasked with deciding who to give the prizes to, and after hours of deliberating, Betty Salazar of The Beauty Club, Tamara Sniffin of The San Pedro Sun and Ellis of Atlantic Bank made up their minds.
Prizes went for Most Elegant, Scariest, Funniest, Most Creative, Best Group, Judge's Favorite, and the Manager's Favorite. Everyone was so pleased with the great costumes on display that there was an impromptu special "Train Station" prize as well.

Save Baby Daniel

The committee that is responsible for the fundraising efforts for Save Baby Daniel held a Halloween Bazaar for children and adults on Friday, October 29th. Children enjoyed games of tombola and ring toss, plus snacks. Their fun costumes also nabbed them great prizes for the night.

ABC Pre-School also held their annual Halloween costume day. Special guests from the Holiday Hotel swung by to give them treats (cupcakes) and then San Pedro Town Council members came by to give them candy and school supplies.

That same day, The Island Academy held their annual costume contest as well. Students dressed up as their favorite TV characters, as scary witches and even as rock stars. There were prizes for most creative, funniest, scariest and fairest maiden.
