If you are an Alaska Airline flyer looking to get to Belize via Cancun . . . no more flights to Cancun as of June 6.

Drat.

Permanently or seasonally?

I'm not certain if it's permanent, but when I spoke to Alaska Air on the phone they didn't say anything about picking up the flights at a later date. They are adding flights to Hawaii. Sounds like that is at the expense of Mexico.

They are permanently discontinuing LAX-CUN service starting June 6.
SEA-CUN will now be seasonal. No service starting June 6th, but returning daily Nov. 7th (presumably until June 5th of 2011.
