Delta Air Lines Offers First-Time Codeshare Service to Belize and Bonaire

ATLANTA, Nov. 25, 2002 -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) announced today it will offer customers new codeshare service to Belize and Bonaire, via Air Jamaica's hub in Montego Bay, effective immediately.

Codeshare service to Belize will operate four times a week and Bonaire will operate three times a week, both with Air Jamaica aircraft.

"Throughout the year, Delta has aggressively enhanced its Caribbean service, adding new customer travel options through our strong codeshare partnership with Air Jamaica to destinations such as Antigua, Barbados, Cura�ao, Grenada, Kingston, Montego Bay, St. Lucia, and now Belize and Bonaire," said Arnaldo Ruiz, general manager - Alliances - the Americas. "Delta continues to offer business and leisure travelers quick connections to the region from almost anywhere in the United States via our Atlanta or New York hubs."

Earlier this fall, Delta introduced its own new and expanded service for customers traveling to the Caribbean and Latin America, including flights to three new destinations: Liberia in the Guanacaste Region of Costa Rica; Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands; and St. Maarten, Netherland Antilles, effective Dec. 1, 2002. Last month, Delta announced the start of nonstop Saturday-only service from Atlanta to Cura�ao, Netherland Antilles, beginning Jan. 11, 2003. The new Delta flight to Cura�ao complements the current five-day-a-week codeshare service offered via Air Jamaica operated aircraft.
