Hello, it's me again! Also, I was wondering if anyone knows of tips to get the best airfare rate from Los Angeles to Belize. The best prices I've seen for when I want to go (August 15-20 or August 16-21) is around $630 on Orbitz, Expedia, American Airlines, etc. Just wondering if anyone has a better (cheaper!) way to fly to Belize. Thanks!

Try the grupotaca.com website - they frequently have better prices than the sites you mentioned. We've flown TACA a couple of times and enjoyed it - from the time you enter the Bradley terminal it's like you're already in Central America. We've done a redeye from LAX to El Salvador and then to Belize City - hop on Tropic or Maya Island and you're in San Pedro and eating lunch at Fido's by noon.

You might also try L.A. Xpress Travel at 310 342-2800 - they specialize in Central America travel from the LA area.

Ditto the above & don't be afraid of the connection. The airport there is very user friendly even if you don't speak spanish. It always smells like fried chicken though...Ilike the schedule better than American, get's you on the island earlier & you can sleep all night from LAX.
