Delta's website says service to Bze is 3days/week starting 5/21. I've never gone through Atlanta. Is 1 3/4 hrs. enough on return to clear customs and catch a connenting flight?

I have a 2 hour time period to clear customs and catch my connecting flight later on this month in Atlanta. I am able clear customs in Dallas in an hour including hopping over to another terminal so I can't imagine it will be that difficult in Atlanta. They do have a tram system of some sort to transport you quickly based on my research.

We went thru Atlanta last June. Had about 2 hours coming back, and had time to get dinner. They have a great underground train to get you from one terminal to the next. You will be fine!

We flew Delta through Atlanta in March. It was our first time with Delta. Usually we fly with Continental via Huston. Going through customs at Atlanta was by far quickier and less stressful. There was plenty of time to claim & recheck baggage and have dinner.

Did you still have to go thru customs,
pick up your bags,
go thru customs (again)
then re-check your bags??

The answer is yes if you are returning from a foreign country. No way of avoiding that.

Agree with the other Kris! We went thru Houston last time and had to decide between a potty break and our return to Tampa. Potty break won (I insisted) but plane to Tampa also held up 45 minutes. We made it, barely. Atlanta was fast, efficient, cool and calm. Next trip thu Miami. By then I will be well seasoned witht he east coast venues.

Back in February we were supposed to have an hour and thirty-five minutes in ATL. Our Delta flight was an hour late leaving BZE and we still made it in time. But then...THAT flight was late and we had almost two hours to rest from our worrying, racing and panicking.

You should do fine with an hour and forty-five minutes! All went smoothly once we were there. I thought it was easier than Miami, but not as easy as Charlotte.

Anyway, I would rather have problems coming home instead of on the way down!!!
