How is the beach and can you swim there? They don't have a pier, I know. I understand a pier is desirable to get out into deeper water so you don't have to walk out over the sea grass. How far a walk is it to the piers of neighboring hotels?

There actually is a pier per se...shared by BB and Mata Rocks. It's rather short but there is a longer one on the other side of BB about (I'm terrible at distances) 50 yards? I've actually just walked out from the beach at BB and at first it was kinda icky from the seagrass but I got used to it. If you walk out just a few feet and just go for it you can swim out away from it.
