Is it a short walk where we can easily lug our luggage or should we take a taxi?

Thanks!

We'll be there Dec.6-13 and we'll have two pullmans and two carry ons. If it is no more stressful than what we experience carting the stuff around any aorport then no biggie. If it is a 1/2 mile or more then I want a ride smile

It's 300 feet at most from the airport. Okay, maybe 500 feet. Lug your stuff then head next door to BC's and quench that thirst!

Depends on which airline you fly in on. If you have a choice, take Tropic Air which is much closer. If you fly in on Maya Island Air, you will probably want to take a taxi. The road is not paved from the Maya side and you have to go around the airstrip. Tropic Comes in on the "Palms" side of the airstrip and the road is mainly paved (bricked) to the hotel.

and in anticipation of your next question - prices are the same on either Tropic or Maya laugh

You will LOVE The Palms! In my opinion the best place to stay near town.

Anna at the Palms has us booked on Tropic Air. I didn't want to keep bugging her with questions. Thanks for the info. Seems as if it will be an easy walk.

Just be careful you are not 'mown down' by the speeding golf carts etc. as you walk along the road dragging your cases!
