I need a little guidance. I am looking for a place to stay (hopefully in the $100-$140 range)January 22-26 (4 nights), on the beach, hopefully a queen size bed (or king), nice room, but not extravegant, no TV, fairly close to San Pedro. If anyone has suggestions, I woudl love to hear them!! Thanks so much!!

Mayan Princess is another excellent choice.

We stayed at the Blue Tang last June. No complaints. Pool is very small, but pleasant to sit around. In February, we'll be at the Belizean Reef, which is towards the south end of town. No pool, but it sure looks nice. Wish I was going today. Jean

The Blue Tang is only a few minutes from shopping
and most restaurants are close by in easy walking distance. If I only had four days I would recommend staying in town because it gives you a better chance to enjoy the locals in their own neighborhoods. You'll enjoy the staff as well
as the location.

Another is the Belizean Reef, they are condos so you can cook if you choose to, right on the beach, just down from Ramon's. Exceptional location, super clean & they can do your laundry for a nominal fee. Enjoy!
