Here's a blurb from the AC Chamber of Commerce minutes.
"Calendar Girls Signing Party:
On Friday, January 6, 2006 there will be a Calendar Girls Signing Party at Wet Willy's from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. 10% of all proceeds from the sale of food and drinks will be donated to the cause of obtaining more classrooms at the Roman Catholic School. Instead of just putting a roof on an existing structure, the plan is to now add a new building which will consist of 6 classrooms. This should be ready by next school year. Please come and get your calendars and get them signed by the Calendar Girls and have a good time. All proceeds from the sale of the calendars goes towards the construction of this new building. To be able to complete this project, they must sell another 800 to 900 calendars. This is a wonderful cause which is so desperately needed. The San Pedro Social Club and the Town Board are also making significant contributions to make sure that the new 6 classrooms will be ready for September 2006 for the new school year."
I heard it was great! Who was there and can give details?

To raise even more money has anyone thought of auctioning off the calender girls. You know say for a dinner date, lite cleaning for a day,etc...Clubs and fund raisers here in the states have been doing it for decades. Just a thought.

I do believe there were two young men auctioned this way, for this cause, in SP just recently. So... the thought is there.
