By Far, the Caves Branch River trip is the best in Belize. It's offered currently by two tour groups that I know of.
Ian Andersons Jungle lodge does two different float trips in two different caves. I think Caves Branch is best( the other is St. Hermans Cave). Ian offers a trip through all three cave systems on the Caves Branch (of the Sibun River).
Jaguar Paw Resort also offers a single cave float day trip in Caves Branch, but there's a bit more hiking involved.
The best way(Ian Anderson) is to Start at the first cave and take a short hike to the second system. Then they'll pick you up without too much walking after floating through the second and third. Be prepared to stay a night though.

How do I get more info on this and how can I make reservations in November for it? I promise I will come and see you play in AC and buy at least two CD's from you. I tried to order one from CDNOW and they told me they were out of stock! Thank you in advance.

Bigzeke.....I looked for websites for Ian Anderson and Jaguar Paw on the Cayo Online pages.
They have a lot of info but no active links for either one.

You could do an email search from the home page of this site.

There is also another company that does good trips at good rates.

Caves Branch sounds like fun!

Thank-you Sandshaker for your time. Barefoot Skinny seems to have used Ian Anderson in the past and he seems to think it was great, so I would like to go that route. I am lining up my palns right now and I want to have a couple days to check out some lots with Jesse also. It is filling up and I think I may need another vacation when I get back to the states. My wife and I would love to meet you and your husband for a couple drinks one night when we are at AC. I have only spent time in SanPedro and I am dying to check out the mainland and I don't want to blow it and go on the wrong trip.If I'm planning on buying property down there, I gotta check out the whole show. Any recommendations will be definitely appreciated. BTW I downloaded Randy Crawford on Napster....Cajun Moon, Knocking on Heaven's Door, and Rainy Night in Georgia...OUTRAGEOUS! Just ordered a CD.
Thanks again!

You can find info about Caves Branch at www.cavesbranch.com. If you email Tangie from there, she will send you a detailed attachment with info about excursions, costs, etc. My husband and I just booked 3 nights with them in late Oct. and we look forward to putting our live in the hands of a guide who will tie us up and drop us 300 feet into the dark bowels of a cave. (Read what you will into that.)

The website for Jaguar Paw is www.jaguarpaw.com. I've been to both Caves Branch and Jaguar Paw and they are very different from each other but both awesome!
