I read a post about fishing and catching Snapper from a hotel dock. What kind of gear do I need? I plan on taking a cheap k-mart or wal-mart pole and reel. Anything special that I need. How heavy a pole and what lb test for the line. What kind of lures? I don't want to spend a ton but be able to land what I might catch and then when I leave, give the gear to a kid or someone who could might use it.
