Just got back from our honeymoon on Ambergris Caye. We stayed at a very nice place called Exotic Caye Resort. It was nice and quiet/laid back, but also close to town. Only a 10 min walk to the heart of town when we wanted to eat or explore. The swimming pool was great to cool off during the heat of the day. The bar, Crazy Canuks" has a super happy hour and music on night a week as well as a beach barbeque on night. If you are into diving the dive shop is right there and very helpful. We rented bikes from the resort and explored all around Ambergirs which I reccomend. I reccomend biking norht of town, over the river, to a luch restaurant called Sweet Basil. It is a fun ride and the best food. A bit pricey but worth it. Overall it was a great time and wish I was still there.

There is some work going on because they are getting ready for their busy season and upgrading their rooms. It didn't wake us up or bother us while we were there.
