I really missed the air conditioner around 3 this morning. Those novels about making wild passionate whoopee on the shore under a giant moon while being wafted by the soft Caribbean breezes are for a much younger generation. We had all the ingredients, just not the desire, I guess. We got up and opened the sliding glass doors in front then the door in the back. Got a great breeze going. Daughter and I slept while
hubby kept watch for intruders (animal or human). Went back to bed singing "I believe in Miracles" after power came back on. Then when power went off again just stayed in bed, too lazy to seek breeze. Wasn't off too long that time. All in all about two hours. Anyone else have a tale about the night the power went off in Georg... I mean Belize?
I woke up thinking about hubby's vigilance at 3 AM. I married the right guy!!!
