I think I'm going to have to write a blog like the other guy did!

Left house at 5:30am, no snow; got to BOS no snow; tried to get on standby on the earlier flight as we were at the airport so early but only one seat left and we didn't want to split up so got on our scheduled flight..... at 8am and it had snowed about 2 inches in about 30 mins. And we sat, and sat, and sat until just after 10am and deicing the plane took off for DFW. Got to DFW 1:41pm and the daily flight to BZE had been held from original take off at 12:46pm to 1:20pm because of connection delays. We finally landed at 1:41pm and there's no other carrier flying out to BZE today, so we're scheduled on the 12:46pm tomorrow.

Bummer, bummer, bummer! It's freezing here adn we should have jut about arrived and be having our first or second Belikin, so I guess not, not until this time tomorrow.

AA wouldn't pay for hotel as it's weather that delayed the flights but gave us a meagre voucher and we set off for the Best Western. Got their only to find they have NO BAR, NO RESTAURANT, and as I was trying to get people to call Xanadu and Tropic Air for me, the fire alarm went off and that that was that! Firemen turned up, a pipe had frozen and water was gushing from the third floor all the way thro' all the lower floors. Some poor manager couldn't disable the alarm which deafened us for a good $45 mins. Anyway, we said the hell with it, enough's enough and are now at the Marriot where we can eat and drink and sleep peacefully!

If anyone runs into Jean and Bruce at Belizean Reef, could you let them know we've been delayed a day?

Hope to catch the sun set tomorrow and have a better day...... fingers crossed!

PS: Have called home and apparently there's now 15 inches of snow in southern Maine - how much have you got KLCMAN?

yup u got 15, we have only about 7 or 8 right now....but enuff that the idiots are playing bumper cars on Rte 1
