When we arrive on 1/27, it will be our 4th trip to Belize (3rd to AC)! We're staying at Mata Rocks and have never rented a golf cart before (relying on walking, bicycles and taxis) but think it might be a good idea to use a cart to explore restaurants north of the cut and to transport a supply of Belikin, etc. After reviewing many of the posts, is it reasonable to conclude that a week's rental should be about $250? Also, it sounds as though gas is preferable over electric so that a dead battery isn't an issue, right? Since we'll be wanting to rent from Saturday, 1/28 through Saturday 2/4 would it be advisable to book ahead or is it better to wait until we get there? Any comments on these rental companies? Cholos, Service is great, nice people, I just spent almost 2 weeks there and got a flat tire at our condo 2 miles north, called cholos they sent someone out and replaced the tire within 30 minutes (US TIME) no problem.
