All Saints Day is November 1st.
Día de Todos los Santos
Mexicans honor their dead relatives and/or friends (who were less than 18 years of age and unmarried) with candles, food & flower offerings, its a Pre-Hispanic tradition to leave food on the graves at dusk.
A little more romantic and truly more spooky than Halloween.

The Mexican Embassy in Belize City usually has a party that's a big cultural enlightenment.

Great picture! We seem to visit a lot of cemeteries when we travel and have seen several that resemble the photograph, especially throughout New Mexico. Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen; and while a completely different style, Arlington is amazing.

p.s. - Nov. 1 - Día de Todos los Santos - is more of a religious holiday throughout most of Latin America and Spain and Nov. 2, Día de Todos Santosis, more commonly called Día de los Muertos in the Mexican culture, is the day to celebrate deceased friends and family members. Lots of celebrations in southern CA related to this holiday.
