The San Pedro Belize Red Cross is very excited to welcome back Bandage international for another 2 day extensive first aid training course.

We are also pleased to announce that so far the following businesses in the first aid program are sending staff.

Course Details:
Cost $50 bzd [well worth it]
Wed Nov 6th and Thurs Nov 7th
9:00am - 3:30pm both days
Upstairs at El Divino restaurant, Banana Beach Resort
Lunch will be 12 bzd

The course is open to 30 people. We are half full from the 5 businesses above and have room for 15 more people. If your business would like to send staff, you are an individual who wants training or you would like to sponsor a spot please email Shirlee A <[email protected]> to get on the list.

While here Bandage International will also be doing training on behalf of the Belize Red Cross Sunday Nov 3rd at La Loma Luz hospital in Santa Elena and Tuesday Nov 5th at Toledo community college Punta Gorda.

Elvis Kitchen, Spiez Pharmacy and Coastal Xpress are also sending people for training.

For those of you on the island, Bandage International and San Pedro Belize Red Cross will be on the morning show with Aiden Salazar Wednesday at 7:00am ch 20 to talk about importance of First Aid and the businesses who are stepping up to help make Ambergris Caye a safer place.

The course will include bandaging, splinting, burns, cpr for adult,child, infant, choking. They will cover medical emergencies including heart attacks, stroke, asthma, seizures, water emergencies, using AED's and smoke inhalation. There will also be hands on practical sessions.

It was very fitting that Annie Mae of Bandage International passed out lifesavers at the end of class as one of the students was a lifesaver and we were unknowing about to celebrate the fact in a very special way. http://tacogirl.com/island-life/it-was-fitting-that-bandage-international-passed-out-lifesavers/
