The two topics regarding the stray dogs in San Pedro have addressed a serious and heartfelt issue for us all.

The Saga Society is a non-profit 'humane society' which serves to address the stray animal problems of San Pedro. From what I understand, they can be reached at #3266. You also may email [email protected] for additional information regarding donations or pet adoption.

This is the information I found. I would be very interested if this information is still accurate and helpful and hopeful that many people lend their support. I even encourage the multi-colored font people...

I knew you'd come up with an answer for us. Hows the stray dog situation is DC? Cleaned up?

Well, Bill, as a matter of fact, the stray dogs in DC are cleaned up. Rats are indeed the story now. The rats run the streets and the White House.

Sandshaker posted a nice reply in the other dog post. I plan to help out San Pedro where I can (probably with $$ donations so my time is free for finding people's sunglasses for them.)

In any event, I'll be in St. Louis soon and at my regular table at Tony's. Say around 7pm?

Ya'll got me worried about them stray dogs in San Pedro. Seems like they must be more plentiful than the wild coyotes that put me to sleep at night with their howls here in Texas. If customs will let me, do you need more ammunition to take care of that problem when I come? I for sure don't want to be worried about stray animals when I come there to visit. Let me know what I can do to help. TexasDawd ( a human being, not a dog)

YES!! TexasDawg....by all means....bring lots of ammunition.
I'm sure customs will treat you like a VIP. Might even put you up for free in their illustrious hotel in Hattieville.
Hell....throw a couple rifles in that suitcase for good measure.....LOL

What are the visiting hours at Hattiesville, and will you want us to bring cigarettes?

Here's an idea TexasDawg: The customs agents sometimes fall for a diversion. I brought a VCR tape of the "Two Fat Ladies" cooking show. The customs agents were so conserned that it was pornograph, they didn't even ask bout the bazooka.
