Bill....I just put in a big bet on the KC Chiefs against your St.Louis Rams for Sunday getting 7 points. I bet you don't like my chances,huh? What do I know? I'm going to see the my mighty Jaguars get their asses kicked by the Redskins on Sunday. I should bet against them too but my wife would kill me!

If the Rams will slip, perhaps it will be against the Chefs. We got one, probably two offensive linemen out, and da Chefs gots D. Lots a ruck!

Hi Goddaughter: Haven't seen ya saga on da board yet. Anxious to hear ALL da dirt. I didn't know that Joe Namath is your grandfather. I met Joe in New Orleans when I was a Skycap in the mid-80's. I was walking in the airport, when someone from behind called out "hey cap". I turned and it was Joe Namath. He asked me if I had seen Frankie Avalon. I responded no, and about that time, there was Frankie Avalon at the Continental Airlines ticket counter. About a year later, I saw a commercial with Joe Namath advertising for some sort of a pain relief devise that apparently Frankie Avalon had some sort of interest. Frankie and Joe went back to LA together. I think Frankie looks better with Annette Funicello. Joe goes better with Don Manard.

Dear Goddaughter: I just assumed that when ya said that you liked the Jets because of your grandfather Joe, I assumed your gandfather was Joe Namath. Silly me. There are other Joe's. Your grandfather wouldn't happen to be Joe Montana, would he? Because if he is, I don't have any personal stories about him. Never met da man. Yes, Don Maynard is Joe Namath's end (the guy who goes and catches the ball). And yes, Annette and Frankie should of got hitched, irregardless of what they really thought of each other. I always thought that Annette cheated on Frankie when she did that movie with Fabian. THAT FABIAN!
