If I want to go scuba diving when I get to AC, is there somewhere I can do one of those one-day resort courses and get my certification? If so, where?

Becky,

You can do a resort course and dive with the instructor for up to 2 weeks but that will not get you certified. If you want to get certified it takes about 3 days. There is reading to do, skills in the pool and then your open water dives. We can help you with either one of those options. We have the only rear entry boat on the island and it is very comfortable to dive off of. You can email us direct for more information at [email protected]. Visit our webpage at barefootwatersports.net.

Hope to hear from you,
Dawn
