If you are planning on being in Belize City or San Pedro Ambergis Caye over the Easter weekend then Belize's first major Reggaeton bashment just might be your destination. The concert will feature both local and international artists and promises to have the audience on the move. Today one of the show's promoters, Israel Vasquez, explained why Belizeans should pay attention to what is the hottest music in the region.

Israel Vasquez, Business Manager, Belizean Entertainment
"It's a music that identifies mostly with the Latino culture and we're wanting the people to get into Reggaeton, all the Belizean people and feel what it is to be a part of the Latino culture."

"Who will be performing?"

Israel Vasquez
"The main attraction is Baby Rasta, he is a performer from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and he's an old school Reggaeton artist. Also, it's dubbed the Reggaeton/Punta Rock. Super G will also be in the concert performing, as well as the local Reggaeton artists, Belizean Entertainment and DNA from San Pedro."

Jacqueline Godwin
"How do you plan to get the crowd moving and involved in the concert?"

Israel Vasquez
"Well the people who are familiar with Belizean Entertainment should know that they continue to be one of the best performance in Belize and definitely there is a show like no other planned for this concert here and the people should expect a very good professional show."

The concert will be held on Saturday at the football stadium in San Pedro and Sunday at the Princess Hotel. The music kicks off at nine on both nights and is expected to last three hours. Tickets are on sale for thirty dollars at Venus or at the door for forty.
