From Belmopan...
Some heavy rain in some parts early this morning, 10mm ( 0.4") in Belmopan, enough to break this drought for another couple of weeks. The Caribbean winds and clouds are predominating this morning. There is a lot more cloud, some large and high out in the Caribbean. The high level SSW Pacific winds are also bring some cloud, but is also significantly mixing with the Caribbean winds, stirring up large areas of cloud, some of which will bring significant rain, just can`t be sure how much of that will be on land. The lower Caribbean winds are moving fast, but no surface wind at present, I suspect this is because the "Tiger" wind is holding it back at surface level, but the East winds will strengthen at surface in the next hour or two.
I expect today to be a bit turbulent, that is some more rain at times, significant low cloud, with also some mid and high level cloud, but good sun patches coming through as well.
