From Belmopan...
Complicated weather presently, the north winds have taken over the Yucatan peninsular and way down into the Pacific. But the Pacific winds near Panama are fighting back and are coming up into the Caribbean, then being drawn towards Belize by the Caribbean air. The result, bright sun over most of Belize, but there is a clash just along the coast, and again further out at sea. This is resulting in many rain showers, some quite heavy, all along the coast. These showers are already well inland down south Belize and Corozal district. More coming in, but dying out over the next few hours.
Today will be a mixture of good bright sun, clouds building up later, but a line of scattered rain showers already moving inland that will be around for this morning.
