Belize Weather Forecast: August 21, 2015

General Situation:
Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: Generally fair and warm weather prevails. Warm and mostly dry conditions expected during the next few days.
Advisories: None.
24-hour forecast: Partly cloudy skies this morning and then mostly sunny skies this afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms will be generally isolated this morning followed by little to no rainfall this afternoon. Tonight skies will be partly cloudy, except for the south whcih will be cloudy at times. Tomorrow will be sunny with a few cloudy spells. A few outbreaks of showers and thunderstorms will develop over southern areas tonight and early morning. Elsewhere shower activity if any will be isolated.
Winds: East - southeast 10-20 knots.

Tropical Weather Outlook: At 3:00am Hurricane Danny was centered near latitude 13.7 N and longitude 47.4 W or about 985 miles ESE of the Leeward Islands. Danny was moving West-Northwestward at 10 mph with maximum sustained winds of 85 mph.

OP Marty	From Belmopan... I think last night was the warmest night of the year and one of the warmest ever. Hurricane Danny has got an eye, but very small. it has intensified, but I cant see it surviving much more than a day or two longer. That upper air swirl has gone right up the Belize coast causing some rain in many parts from PG to Corozal, although the amount of rain has been small, confined to scattered showers and is now dying out. I expect today to be largely sunny, but with significant clouds, there could be the outbreak of rain showers though. Temperatures in Belmopan: Today is probably going to be Similar, to yesterday : Thu, max 34°C 94°F Last night min 26°C 78°F ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler )
