Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: A surface trof over the area supports moist and unstable conditons over the country, becoming less moist and unstable during the next few days.
Advisories: **Small craft caution for gusty winds and locally rough seas near thunderstorms**
24-hour forecast: Cloudy with some showers, thunderstorms and periods of rain mainly in the north and over the sea today. Cloudy with several outbreaks of showers and thunderstorms along with periods of rain mainly over northern and coastal areas tonight and mostly over the north tomorrow.
Winds: Southwest this morning, then becoming south-southeast later at 5-15 knots...With higher gusts near showers and thunderstorms

Tropical Weather Outlook: Tropical Depression Ida was centered near latitude 23.4N and longitude 46.1W or about 1155 miles ENE of the Northern Leeward Islands. Ida was moving to the Northwest at 8 mph with maximum sustained winds of 35 mph.

Diane Campbell	Lightening and thunder much of the night. Plenty of rain as well. Just before 7 am it is densely overcast, light breeze. A day to snuggle up with a good book.

OP Marty	From Belmopan... There have been several swell-ups around, one smallish one near PG but a much larger one just off the Belize north coast line, this must have caused rain up north. But unusually, not only is the surface wind for the SW but so also are the clouds as seen in Belmopan moving from the SW, the satellite is not even showing any Caribbean winds, partly due cloud cover. Looks like today will be largely cloudy, perhaps a little sun from time to time later, could be more patches of rain. Temperatures in Belmopan: Today is probably going to be Similar, to yesterday : Fri, max 28°C 82°F Last night min 24°C 76°F ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler )
