From Belmopan...
The NOAA are not showing any cold front, but it is certainly colder. The reason Wednesday was so hot, was because the day sky was clear, so we had full sunshine all day, warming the air near the ground. Cloud cover yesterday meant no sun heating so cooler air. It is primary the Clouds that control Earth's temperatures, not CO as you are being told. The Caribbean easterly winds are caused by the Sun, heating the land, causing air to rise, and the wind blows to fill that area of rising air. So our easterly winds follow the Sun, which is why we usually have no wind at night time, sometimes a backlash or recovery as "Tiger" wind back from the cooler mountains at night time.
This present heavy drizzle/light rain should ease off as the day warms up, but probably staying cloudy for most of the day.
